Room 29 have been busy learning how to create a Power point Presentation. We have started off by creating a power point about ourselves so we can learn how to create slides, insert pictures and hyperlinks, add tags and make our icons move, play with the timing and transitions, change the background, colours, text style and appearance and for some of us add sound.
This is a work in progress and we hope to upload some to the blog to share with you what we have created so far. So watch this space ...

We have also had a busy week across the Senior Team with Sports Exchanges on Tuesday. We had alot of our sports teams travelling and we had some great success in our games. The sun also came out for the afternoon so everyone had a smile on their faces and a positive attitude. Keep an eye on the Sports Blog for information about next weeks games.

We have been having an amazing time 'Expressing ourselves" for our inquiry unit this term. Once a week since the start of term we have moved around the senior classrooms for a full day to experience different ways of expressing ourselves through the arts. We have explored the following areas - Drama, Dance, Visual Art, Photography and Maori, Myths, Games and Pastimes. Next week we will be experiencing the next exciting installment of our "Express Yourself" Unit with the arrival of Rock Van to ROPS!!! Wow we are so excited about the fact we will be given the opportunity to be part of a Rock band and even get to perform in a live concert on the 10th June at Onehunga High school. We will get the chance to play 3 different instruments then focus on learning one for our practices. Some of us will be chosen as the lead singers for our band. Each class will perform a different song and can't wait to impress you all with our talents. So get ready to hear and see some singing into hair brushes while we practise in front of the mirror at home :)

Bye for now from Miss Quigley and Room 29 :)
