Today we held the Stumpers Challenges for teams and individuals in year 5 and 6. It was a 30 minute competition with problem solving questions. Three teams from each class particpated in the Team Challenge. Any individual boys and girls who wished to enter were involved in the Individual Challenge.
Winners of the Team Stumpers Shield were Room 26, for the third year in a row. The team members were: Joel, Jessica, Alsana and Ben.
Winners of the Girls Individual Stumpers were: Ariana and Ashley
Winners of the Boys Individual Stumpers were: Luke Z, Adam C, Joel, Josh E and Callum M. They all scored 7 points so we held a tie breaker and Adam was the ultimate winner of this.

One People One Planet
Today we sent four of our Year 6 children to a children's conference at the Aotea Centre. Callum, Danny, Charlotte and Alexa were our voice at this day titled 'The Voice of the Children'. We look forward to their feedback.

Statistical Investigations in Room 26
To start off Term 4, Room 26 were all involved in being 'data detectives'. In small groups we planned, investigated, and analysed data related to sport. We will be sharing some of our findings at assembly next week (12th November). Our powerpoint slide show is made up of our graphs, which we made in excel, to best show the results of our investigations.
