The team will be focusing on Te Reo Maori this month as Matariki (Maori New Year) celebrations are approaching on the 14th of June. There are some great articles and activties in the Newspaper in Education series (NZ Herald) providing more information and celebrations around Auckland. We are moving into our design and creating stage for our 'Trash to Fashion' topic. Children will be needing to continue to collect and bring in various recycled materials that they will be using as they produce their piece of wearable art.
